  • APPLE PIE CRUST MIX: ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), EVAPORATED CANE JUICE, SEA SALT. CONTAINS WHEAT
  1. You'll need 6 tbsp cold unsalted butter, 3 tbsp water, and 2 small apples. 
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F, rinse and dry off the pie dish. 
  3. Empty both bags of crust mix in a mixing bowl and mix with butter until crumbly. 
  4. Stir in water until the dough comes together. 
  5. Chill for 30 minutes. 
  6. Core and peel the apple and cut into small chunks. 
  7. Toss apple chunks in a bowl with one bag of apple pie spice mix. 
  8. Work in spice mix until all pieces are coated. 
  9. There may be leftover pie spice depending on size of apples. 
  10. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into two discs - one disc about a 9 inch circle for the bottom crust and the other about a 7 inch circle for the top crust. 
  11. Press the bottom crust into the bottom of the dish, ensuring that all sides of the dish are covered. 
  12. Fill the dish with spiced apple chunks. 
  13. Place the top crust over the apple chunks.
  14. Stretch to cover the entire top and press down edges with a fork to seal. 
  15. Poke a few holes in the top crust. 
  16. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until crust becomes golden brown.
  17. Remove pie dish with an oven mitt. 
  18. Let cool for five minutes and serve!
