Wrapping is definitely one of the most fun parts of gift giving. Whether it’s with printed wrapping paper, or something you decorate yourself, wrapping gives you a chance to set the tone for the season or the gift, and really create something special. So how do you wrap when you’re between major holidays but want to do something beyond the ordinary? Think seasonal of course!
Our design team came up with some rain or shine, spring weather-inspired wrapping ideas to add some new life to your gift giving this season.
“a style that will brighten anyone’s day”
What You’ll Need
- Wrapping paper (preferably solid colors)
- Construction paper
- Paints and paintbrushes
This is just a starter list based on what our designers used. You can gather whatever materials you want to experiment with. This wrapping is meant to be fun and colorful, so let your inspiration take you wherever it wanders.
We opted for a weather theme, because rain or shine, a gift should bring joy to whoever is receiving it. You can either paint, draw, or cut out shapes like suns, moons, clouds, lightning bolts, and rain drops. Just have fun with it!
For added details, you can even create some shape cutouts to make gift tags – you can see that we made rainbows and planets to go with our theme. Just use a hole punch to create a hole for threading ribbon through.
Add a hand-drawn card to go along with the gift! This extra thoughtful touch is sure to put a big smile on someone’s face – plus it’s free! Make your own with some nature-themed puns or print out your own customized Spring-Themed Stationary for something a little more classy.
