Coffee Camp

A Coffee Lover's Gift Set

For fresh, morning pour over anywhere, our coffee camp gift sets are a picnic for lovers of coffee.  We've bundled up the mugs, the filters and the pour over block as well as the coffee. There's even a fleece blanket for snuggling with the friend who always makes time for a mug of joe. In the yard, the park, or even the woods... anywhere far from a coffee bar.

  • Fleece Blanket Wrapped in Leather Band
  • Wood Pour over Coffee Block
  • Two Distressed Enamel Mugs
  • Ten Disposable Coffee Filters
  • Colombian Coffee (10oz)

  1. Bring to a boil 20 to 25 ounces of water.
  2. Place empty paper filter in the wood block.
  3. Pour in about half of your hot water, fully saturating the filter and warming the enamel mug. After a minute, empty and prepare to brew.
  4. Pour one ounce of ground coffee into the filter and give it a gentle shake. This will flatten the bed, allowing for a more even pour.
  5. Starting at the bed's center, gently pour the water over the grounds. You should pour at such a rate that the complete brew process takes about two and a half to three minutes.

The Story Of

Coffee Camp

The Pour-Over Mogul

“Never rush it. That’s the secret of a perfect pour-over brew.” I love watching him when we go camping and he’s got all the time in the world. Reading the label to make sure they’re the supreme Colombian origin beans he loves. Sniffing the fresh grinds and placing them lightly in the filter, swirling hot water cascading between the precious black gold powder. He pours it into the enamel mugs, frothing the beverage. We lay on the wool blanket, sipping the bitter-sweet delight and looking at the sky. “It is coffee time,” he says.
