A Tropical Mother’s Day Brunch Party

Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and we can’t wait to celebrate all of our favorite moms. Whether it’s your own mom, your mother-in-law, your friends, or a mom-to-be, what better way to celebrate the fruits of their labor than by giving them a taste of a tropical getaway.

Inspired by warmer weather and the bright colors of tropical florals, this Mother’s Day brunch party inspiration pairs our Tropical Party Pack with some sweet and fruity treats your guests (especially mom) will love to eat.

Bring some color to the table with bright place settings, fun florals, and colorful decorations. We used different colored ranunculus buds for cake toppers and as a table decoration. Another way to inject color is with cake stand decorations – honeycomb balls, pompoms, even streamers are great ways to add some extra pizzaz to a plain cake stand.

In addition to traditional brunch fare, we also included tasty treats for the special occasion. We tucked fruits in with our treats for some extra color on the table. If you want to go above and beyond, serve chocolate-covered strawberries (and other fruits) for a sweet treat that will leave your guests hungry for more.

For beverages, we served fruity-flavored cocktails from our Tropical Party Pack gift set. The flamingo glasses and pineapple-shaped cocktail shaker pair perfectly with the tropical theme, and can easily be re-used for summer parties (or any time you need a dose of paradise).

Thoughtful Touch

If you have some extra time on your hands, make up your own brunch cocktail creations! Punny names are a suggestion, and Mom-osas are a must. For bonus “best child ever” points add a twist to mom’s favorite drink – she’s sure to appreciate the drinks and the thoughtful gesture.

Happy hosting! What did you think of this brunch party idea? Will you use it for your spring get-togethers?
